I teach young people to make films/make media texts in a challenging inner city environment. One of the main aims is to get them to University to continue their voyage.

I became a film maker in the 1980's having discovered the thrill of making images via my trusty Olympus OM1 which remained by my side for 25 years. I love digital. Currently I'm using a Nikon D80 with a 50mm F1.4 and an 18-135mm zoom. I tweak prints on Aperture and try not to crop unless as a pure square. Occasionally I take prints into photoshop but mainly just to paint out dust/dirt that is somehow in my shot, mostly are can't be bothered and my shots are fairly 'warts and all'.

My 365 is a kind of blog, though it's much more fluent and loose when the pressures of work aren't so great.
