When I was a kid in the 70s my mom got into photography and had a nice Canon FTb (which I now own). But her fascination with photography interested me and decades later I finally decided to bring a camera everywhere I go and 'report' on what I find out in the world.
I had a Sony Point & Shoot for years but upgraded to a Nikon D5000 and take pics of a variety of interests - downtown Anchorage, candid, diners and cafe's, neon lights, guitars, food, my wife Sarah and her abstract art, etc. When not taking pictures I spend my time writing songs and playing guitar in a local rock/folk original band.
