I have loved photography for a very long time. My father had an interest in photography, and he purchased a lot of equipment. So as a teenager I had my hands on all types of photo equipment. I would turn my parent's bathroom into a make-shift darkroom and spend hours upon hours there. I can still remember the smell of the developer, etc.. I attended The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale in the summer of 1975 right before I finished high school--it was a summer program, and the first time I was away from home. My first digital camera was a Panasonic...3.2 pixels...the digital format was so new and I could not even download the photos correctly--no usb connection on my computer! I still loved it tho! Since then I have used several Olympus digital cameras including a great DSLR. I guess I have come full circle with the Panasonic after using the Panasonic LX3. My first Panasonic had so many problems I had to return it within a week of receiving it....got a new one back, and that camera had problems as well. All I can say now is Panasonic has come a long way! I love the LX3, and really enjoy experimenting with it---pushing it as far as I can. I also have a real interest in shooting video and editing it. I make photo and video slideshows for family and friends. I can get lost at my computer when working on these highly involved projects.
