About the photos. They are all taken as I go through daily life. Most are taken with natural or available light. At work I'd like to control most element, but in photography, I enjoy reacting to the surprise that the moment brings.

I shoot without confinement to any particular style, theme or subject. This is why the name 'AraiGodai', which means 'whatever' in Thai.

"My first time skimming this stream is just to get to know other Thai flickr members. But I've never seen such beautiful photo blogging like AraiGodai's before ( oh, that's because I'm new here... ). Not the 'beautiful' we describe stuffs like women and landscape, but beautiful in how we feel taking a short look at people's photos and let the compliments swim in your head. อะไรก็ได้สุดสุดไปเลย."

"An intuitive photographer, Arai captures beauty and meaning in fantastic composition, great framing, and clicking the shutter at the precise moment when the subject is exactly where it seemingly needs to be for the magic that winds up being frozen in time. Often providing thought-provoking commentary with his photography, the viewer can immediately tell that Arai's photograph is not a passive one, shot for the sake of shooting, but rather a canvas of imagery and ideas, finely and beautifully executed. Wonderful work, my friend."

    Work is fun says:

"AraiGorDai is an easygoing guy who takes his work seriously. He reminds me of the book "The Art of Looking Sideways by Alan Fletcher". He inspires everyone to view the world from a different angle. His photos have the same effect. And when I am back in Thailand, he shall buy me lunch."

"AraiGordai = name which can mean two things: “what ever” or “as you please”. Both truly represented in his work. Photography is interpret by the photographer which then reinterpreted by the viewer. His work on cityscape in Bangkok is truly wonderful in capturing the colour and intensity which most people may never have seen (myself included) or though possible in such a busy city. His work is inspiring to watch. His insight knowledge on the subject can be seen via the detail description given with each of the photo – giving every reader a change to feel the image and learn new things at the same time. Keep up the good work Arai."
