Raised in a small Connecticut town tucked in between dueling indian casinos, Matt decided to pursuit his education in the thriving metropolis of Providence, RI. He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in illustration.

Comes from the combintation of two Swedish words:
Sund trans: Sound (a narrow channel of the sea joining two larger bodies of water)
ström trans: Stream (The flow of water caused by rising and lowering tidesl)
Loosly translated:
A tidal stream that you should avoid rowing your viking ship through.
