The username came from a Simpson's episode. Yes all good username's do! My real name is actually Josh not George.
I am a software engineer (that sounds much more professional than programmer) by day and a photographer by night. Actually I don't consider myself a "photographer" because that would mean I would have talent and I've only been doing this photography thing for a short time now. Thats when I bought my first SLR camera, a Canon Digital Rebel XT. In fact It was the first camera that I ever bought for myself. I believe in the principle of "practice makes perfect" so I hope I will continually get better at taking photos as I do it more and more.
Looking back at all my photos I have come to the conclusion that I have no distinct subject matter that I am interested in. I just shoot what seems to pop into my head on that particular day.
I am totally addicted to this site. It monopolizes way too much of my free time.
