I'm currently a college student living in Tampa, Florida (USA), attending Hillsborough Community College. I'm obtaining my AA degree, then will move on to a 4 year institution for a B.S. in Computer Science with a focus in Network Administration.

I'm an avid hobbiest photographer. My first digital camera was Canon's Powershot S2 IS that I bought for a trip to New York with my youth group. I must say that is a phenomenal point & shoot digital camera. On that trip, I discovered how enjoyable photography really can be.

Just slightly over a year later (September 2006), I purchased Canon's new Rebel XTi as my introduction into the DSLR market. I've been having a blast ever since .... that is, when I have time to actually go out and shoot.

At this point, I consider myself a learning amateur. Considering I work at Best Buy in the camera department (and did plenty of self-research before I got the job), I consider myself extremely knowledgeable about the technical aspects of cameras, but comparatively in the dark about photography habits. I would love any and all constructive criticism on my photos as I want to further enjoy the world of photography.

Who knows, I may even get into doing this professionally...
