I'm constantly amazed at what I see here, so many great photographers, every genre, whether film or digital HDR, the talent is vast. And, a great place to learn,travel to other countries you may never see in person, or make a new friend, learn a new language; take a mini tutorial. It's great to be amongst like-minded friends.
I like what photographer, Ferdinando Scianna from Sicily and full time member of the venerable Magnum Photo had to say: "A photograph is not created by a photographer. What they do is just open a little window and capture it. The world then writes itself on the film. The act of the photographer is closer to reading than it is to writing. They are the readers of the world."
