I'm a geek experimental photographer. I don't always have the best tools, my first photos here are from a cell phone, then some flim scans sneaked in, some digital, and I've been thinking about how to misuse a flatbed scanner for "macro" photography. I just like to use the tools I have.

The tools I use are a LG CU515 (cellphone), a black-bodied Minolta SRT210, and a Nikon D70 with a manual Nikkor 50mm, 24mm, an older-model lensbaby 3G control freak (which is horribly addicting), and now a bodycap with a hole in it.

I rarely do heavy editing of my photos. I used to do nothing, I think I had a mistaken sense of purity. I also don't light my subjects, mostly because I don't have lighting tools, but also because I'm usually doing candids.
