My name is Mike Folden and I’m a photographer/graphic designer. I started my journey in this field in 2007. it was an inspirational trip to Hawaii that motivated me to buy my first DSLR camera.

Everything was beautiful in Hawaii. Everyday was ended with an epic sunset and every morning was greeted with a gorgeous sunrise. I was able to take hundreds of pictures before I dropped my Canon Powershot outside of Bubba Gump’s one night. I was devastated.

Since we had a long plane ride home, I thought it was necessary to start researching for a new camera. I bought a few magazines and read for hours on the plane. When we got home, I read more. I couldn’t stop.

It only took me two weeks to head down to the camera store and purchase an overpriced “Starter Kit”. You would think with all the research I was doing I would have got a better deal…

My style has come a long way since I started. My favorite things to shoot are dramatic landscapes and portraits with off camera flash. I love the emotion both styles evoke. On the design side, I strive for simple and clean.

I work with musicians and families to restaurants and roofing companies.

I’m an avid snowboarder, cyclist and music nut. I love the outdoors and adventures in new places.
