I have always had an interest in photography, my first camera was a kodak 126 instamatic, a very basic drop in Cartridge type camera that took flash cubes on a battery pack.

My first slr was the Zenit E, built like a tank, but rarely produced acceptable pictures, so after joining the RAF in the photo trade,I moved on to the Chinon CM3, which greatly improved my pictures.

After a couple of years, it was time to move on, and I went onto Canon getting the AV1, (looking back I should have got the F1)and after putting 2 rolls of test film through, it was part exchanged to the make that has served me ever since, Minolta.

I bought the X-700 with MD-1 motor drive and the 50mm f1.7 for around £150, Eventually I bought a second body and going into medium format with the Bronica ETRsi.

With the advent of autofocus, I changed from the X700 and got the 7000i, ending up again with 2 bodies and a selection of lens`, one of which I still use 20 years later on digital, I later part exed one of the 7000i`s for the 7xi, what a dream that was to use.

I now use the Dynax 7d and the Sony A700, and boy, what great fun they are to use.

I really hope that you all enjoy looking at my pictures.

Thanks for looking, and please remember that I hold the copyright to these images, but will let you use them if you ask first.

My wife has now got into photography more and has a Sony A350, and her flickr site can be viewed here.
