While working with Feline Rescue Organizations over the last few years, I found that my love for cats also translated into a love for photography ... I loved getting those special cat shots that made people choose to come see one of our babies when looking at the millions of cats on petfinder.com.

Pirates of the Carribean

After 4 going on 5 years of volunteering with the rescues I decided to stop fostering and spend more time with my cats -- and just enjoying life in general ... that is when I discovered Birds, Dragons, frogs, spiders, lizards, and Flickr .. from there things just kept rolling.

When "Say Cheese" Doesn't Work...

I adore taking photos and being nearsighted have learned the reality of "you never really see something until you see it through the lens of a camera".

I've never really liked spiders, but stood for an amazingly long period of time one day trying to get the perfect shot of this gorgeous spider ... how the camera teaches you to really appreciate the glory in God's creations ... (even if it's the glory of a bug)
