Two years have flown by now since i bought my first dslr.This was the Nikon D40 and wow what a learning curve ive been through.

Ive been fortunate to have a few Flickr contacts who are very helpful and have helped me along my photography journey.

My journey continues and hope you all get to enjoy my images that nowadays is starting to vary a little bit.
From Macro work to Landscapes (getting better) but my main love is the wildlife shots and secondly is the night shooting.

A special mention for a Flickr contact who has turned out to be a very good friend indeed and an excellent tutor in the night time photography... i speak from experience here...check out his photostream and website ;

    "Skidzey was one of my very first contacts after joining Flickr, chosen because of his truly inspirational bird photos. They were always impressive to start with, but have only become better with time. You may think you have seen common birds from sparrows to robins all the time, but take a look at Skidzey’s photostream and you will see and appreciate them in a way you hadn’t thought of before. You will also see some exotic species, from herons to birds of prey, and all types of fascinating wildlife too. His composition, isolation and capture are all spot on.

    But what is most impressive about Skidzey is his dedication to his passion. He will wait for hours, go back again and again, and keep trying and trying until he gets the shot he wants. He is a harsh critic of himself and continually strives to improve, which he does with every shot! This tenacity, ambition and perseverance are the hallmarks of a true professional wildlife photographer, and Skidzey now has a body of work that should rival the pros!

    If you want to be inspired, impressed or just enjoy great wildlife photography, then you need to stop here. And stay!

    Thanx for the inspiration, buddy!"
