Hey, my name is Jake, I was born on Vancouver Island in 1988 and have been taking photos since 2006. I am a musician and writer and spend much of my time (apart from school) making music, reading, working on my own writing and the rest of it outside either surfing, skateboarding, biking, swimming, skin diving, canoeing, fishing, camping, hiking, sailing and so on. I love traveling and hope one day I can combine that love with my love for writing and photography and work in journalism and photojournalism. I am also interested in pursuing teaching as a career and would love to write a novel or two in my life. I am currently a student at the University of Victoria (UVic) pursuing a double Major in English and Writing.
