In the 1990's I was an avid amateur photographer, shooting 35mm (with an analog Canon EOS50e SLR) and MF (6x6, with an old Rolleidcord TLR). I had a (simple) dark room where I did my black and white film processing and printing (fun to do, but I hated messing with chemicals).
For some reason (might have had something to do with the transition from university student to full-time worker) I spent the previous decade considerably less time on photography (mostly limited to holiday photography). At end of 2008/begin of 2009, the photography bug caught me again and I started to enjoy photography as a hobby again.
I am always trying to improve my photography. I find many beautiful shots here on Flickr, and elsewhere on the internet, that provide me with inspiration and give me reason to practice, practice and practice.
