Keen photographer for 40+ years. Enrolled as an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) in 1974. My main interest is pictorial (landscape) photography but I dabble in natural history and travel photography as the opportunity allows. While preferring the challenge of making photos in the camera as required when using colour transparency film, because of costs I am increasingly moving into the modern world of digital. When shooting digital I still endeavour to make the photo in the camera thereby keeping any subsequent manipulation to an absolute minimum.
