Semi-retired IT professional with a passion for railway subjects motor sport and landscapes.
I have a growing collection of cameras, mostly Canons. my main camera is now a 40D backed up by my original 300D. This supplemented by two PowerShots; a S3IS which goes on all dog walks and a pocket sizedA1100.
I have a range of lenses from Sigma and Tamron plus a few Canon zooms and a 50mm prime lens for macro and portraits.
I am just getting into HDR and mainly use Picturenaut and Artizen to process the images. I tend to use PaintShop Pro Photo Pro for other creative effects (sometimes with the excellent Topaz add-on) and all are usually finalised for Flickr in Picasa 3 which is so simple to use, but produces great results.
