S. James Guitard is the national bestselling author of four books in a row: Chocolate Thoughts, Mocha Love, Blessed Assurance and Delilah's Revenge. His latest novel, Delilah’s Revenge, is a fast-paced, drama-filled, inspirational novel that is suspenseful, uplifting and entertaining. A Hot Mess: Sin, Secrets and Scandal is the sequel to the ESSENCE and Black Expressions Bestseller Delilah’s Revenge and will be released Spring 2009.

Mr. Guitard’s first book, Chocolate Thoughts, has consistently been rated one of the nation's best African-American non-fiction books and has appeared on numerous bestseller lists. Mr. Guitard has also written Bible commentary for Real: The New Testament by Thomas Nelson Publishers, one of the world's largest producers of Bibles. Professionally, Mr. Guitard has devoted his career to improving the quality of education for poor and minority children as a college instructor, administrator, school teacher, Capitol Hill lobbyist, as well as an education policy specialist.
