*Update for 2012
Here's to new adventures, out with the old & in with ..... whatever the day may lead to take a photo of. Learn something either about the photo, how to create something or meet new folks along the way to learn from!

Where to begin.... My dad gave me a Pentax K1000 film camera some 30+years ago and told me to go do something. Along with that, he gave me a fishin' pole and bucket. One I have figured out and the other keeps me knee deep in the creeks taking photos. I still have a lot to learn and having fun exploring along the way.

I'm fascinated with lightning and enjoy the thrill of trying to photograph a good storm. I'm sort of an "in the moment" when taking pics; fly by the seat of my pants - quick draw. No big deal, just taking some photos when I can while out 'n about. Sometimes, nothing special or composed - more of sharing what I find.

-I drove a semi, for a while, cross country. Kenworth T2000, etc. I don't take the easy road, and I enjoy taking the road less traveled.

I worked on a farm when I was a kid & teen, and I love chickens, pigs and cows. I can shovel shit - and dish it out too. I'm somewhat shy, humble, quiet, silly, humor, or a good horror movie!
