The African American Planning Commission Inc. (AAPCI), is a New York City-based 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization committed to addressing issues of homelessness (domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, housing shortage, and unemployment) within the communities in which we live and serve.

Our Strategy
AAPCI's strategy is to develop both transitional and affordable permanent housing that integrates comprehensive social support and employment services within a supportive community to ensure that individuals and families remain stable, are safely housed, stay independent and maintain their employment status.

AAPCI develops partnerships and linkages with local community-based agencies and nationally recognized nonprofit organizations. AAPCI utilizes government programs, grants, bequests, private funds, contributions from private sector funders and donations from the general public to accomplish its mission.

Donors
If you would like to make a charitable tax-deductible donation and support our efforts, please visit our donation page. You'd be surprised how far our nonprofit can stretch a donation as little as $20.
