Being new to digital cameras, I originally went on flickr just to store my files and realized the potential for creativity was far greater than I thought. It can be a photo tutorial, a game(Photoshop tennis) or just a way to share one's life through images.

The purpose of my photostream has changed drastically in two months--it has become a photo blog of sorts and a photo reference for those unable to visit NYC. I've come to realize that it's a big city and people like to see photographs of themselves in a stranger's account! If my posting your likeness is undesirable, just ask and it will be removed.

I have it organized so that only the most recent projects of mine are featured in the Featured Collections. This way you are updated to what I find most interesting lately and not have to suffer through a ton of photos. I am in the process of considering removing a lot of images to make the stream easier to navigate. Please comment or e-mail if there is a particular image you would like me to keep. Thanks for visiting and may you find what you are looking for, even if that is only a few moments of entertainment.

UPDATE(12/2009): I have decided to try my darnedest to photograph all of New York. At least the most of what I can....I may enlist some help, but I think it can be done....

UPDATE(02/05/2010): If you want an overview of my photos, the Tiltshiftaholic set in the Featured Collection will give you an idea of what I like to photograph and also will allow you to scroll through most of my pages. I wish flickr creates a page scroller soon but there are ways to do it using the search and tags. I just wish it was as easy as typing or searching say page 29 instead of clicking through ten pages at at time, but maybe I'm wrong and there's a way to do this that I don't yet know. As of this writing, I have been on flickr only a little over a year and I didn't even really get to know it's nooks and crannies until 4 months later.

UPDATE(9/30/2011): There have been so many updates on flickr interface over the past year. They do now have a page scrolling system that is more or less what I wanted to view adjacent photos but they also changed the search functions IMHO for the worse. I guess you can't have everything. Since this new feature was added I have sort of slacked off from tiltshifting but hope to start it up again soon.
