  "I consider myself a not-so-wealthy wanderlust, and that is what makes having contacts like Botsok so great. Money prohibits traveling to all the many splendid places that I'd like, but Flickr contacts can give a window into the culture and landscape of these countries.
  
  Botsok manages to capture REAL city life in the Philippines. It's not the stuff that tourists take - that stuff is lame. He presents all the scenes, from the gritty to the whimsical. His photos are rare in that they are both aesthetically pleasing but very true to the natural environment.
  
  And, perhaps most impressively, he manages all this with meager camera equipment. Much of his photos were taken with his cameraphone...further demonstrating his skill.
