During the week I am a PhD student working with carbon-based (graphene) electronics at the University of Leeds, UK. I grew up in Vilnius, Lithuania and came to Leeds in 2005 to do a degree in Nanotechnology and later chose to continue doing research in order to obtain a PhD degree.
Photography is certainly my main free-time activity. Over the last few years I have made numerous weekend trips around Northern England to shoot the beautiful landscapes of this area. Recently I have taken significant interest in long exposure photography after seeing the inspiring work of Joel Tjintjelaar and Alexey Titarenko.
