I'm an amateur photographer who is still learning what my digital camera can do.......a challenge for an old man who is still learning the terminology!!!
I had spent years shooting with a Canon FTb 35mm, but that got real expensive with the cost of developing and printing (it eventually died). When digital came out, who could afford it.
About 3 years ago, my daughter-in-law talked me into going with a Nikon D40; I've enjoyed it, but I found the lenses to be expensive which limited my ability to grow.
To my shock, my wonderful wife and family just set me up (Dec. '11) with a new Canon T3i, 3 lenses, and a flash. Now it will only take me about 10 years to figure it all out.........but what fun I will have doing it!!
