In lieu of something autobiographical or educational, I offer for your amusement 10 random car and photography-related facts about me:

1. I've never been in an Oldsmobile, Suzuki, Dodge, or Mitsubishi, but I have been in a Lagonda, SEAT, Citroen, Shanghai VW, and a Volga. Just, hold your horses Oldsmobile fans, I'll get around to trying 'em.

2. Slightly less than 15% of all photos that I shoot end up on Flickr.

3. In my automotive photos I strive for a clean background, with no other cars or people in the frame, and generally shoot front and back quarter angles.

4. I acquired my first digital camera back in 1999, and I still have it.

5. I first started playing with film cameras at age 2. My first camera was a Praktica, and I miss it dearly.

6. One of my cars appears in one of the photos in my photostream, but not as a primary subject of the photo.

7. The longest I've driven to attend a car show is 340 miles.

8. I once drove my car on the Indy Motor Speedway. Though, not especially quick.

9. The last Toyota I've been in was a Toyota Crown.

10. I barely have enough space for all my car magazines (Surprise!)
