Photography lover for over 25 years. Regular "photo walker" in Berks County, PA (See my blog about it). I usually have Max my 12 lb mini dachshund with me.
In 2008, I published a book on French Creek State Park in Southern Berks County, PA.
I have a photo journal blog called "Berks Awhile" which not only includes Berks County nature, but photos of day trips, local links, trail maps, and links to Imagekind and Blurb book store where I share items for purchase.

I shoot with ultra-zooms, currently a Canon SX30 IS, prior to that a Canon SX20 IS and Panasonic Lumix FZ-28. I love these camera types for they offer high quality and are feature packed with a versatile zoom. The main draw for me is that it can be operated with one hand which is perfect considering Max is usually tugging on a leash with the opposite hand.
