I am a NSCAD University-trained visual artist working in the fields of photography and film.

My photographs often do not encompass larger thoughts or concepts, bus instead focus on a moment; a part instead of the whole. I like ephemera, visceral heart-tugging imagery, plays on light and colour, and the feeling of comfort as being with an old friend. I work in both film and digital, depending on the material, and work in formats up to 4x5 film-based cameras.

Ongoing Projects: "Resting Places", a photographic examination of benches and their environments.

My films are often centered around the idea of childhood vs. maturity, that Peter Pan grey area between staying a child and growing up, and understanding the world you've been placed in. I also do still photography work on films. You will find a selection of that work here.

Ongoing Projects: "Forty-Five & Five", a short about sibling rivalry and music. Primarily the writer/director of short films, I'm currently branching out into a feature about a grown man and the imaginary friend of his dead child, set in Newfoundland.
