Godzilla Loves Kimchi!'s photostream

So, we're spending an entire year apart. Some people call us crazy, others say we're really strong for doing this. We say that Jonathan has itchy feet that can't be cured, and AJ's had the travel bug since she was a kid and it just won't go away. Pink Floyd thought we were in a fishbowl or something.

AJ teaches English to 3rd, 4th, and 6th graders in Gwangju, South Korea, and Jonathan is studying Japanese and Asian history and politics in Akita, Japan. The East Sea separates us, but Skype, postcards and packages, and our million different internet accounts keep us connected. As of March 1st, we've both been in Asia for 6 months, have each been able to visit the other once, and are pondering how we'll make it through the next 6 months.
