I'm a crafty sort of girl. I'm married with a cat. I make stuff. I love semi-colons, fabric, and my sewing machines. I'm a bit of a nerd. Okay, really, I qualify as supernerd. I'm a Nebraska grad with a BS in Design. I studied architecture and make my living working in the field.

Red is probably my favorite color. I do have favorites for different things though; green is my favorite color to wear. I really like red as an accent to black and white.

I struggle with white space in my own work. That doesn't mean I don't like it though. It's just something I have a hard time creating myself.

My mom has me hooked on the bird craze. (Geez, Mom. What'd you do that for?) I'm loving all the bird action going on in the quilty world right now.

I love the water. I'd love to own a boat of my own someday. I've also always loved fish or other water creatures in art and quilts.

I like quirky and wonky things (as long as that was what was initially intended).

I like things that are small.

I love camping! Sitting by a campfire is one of my most favorite things to do. I love sleeping in a tent.
