Hello my name is Ivy.

My passion is jewelry that is made from paper. I make both the supplies and jewelry. This is my 1st foray into selling my items. Any surpport or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Few may know it, but paper bead making is a simple, yet patient art. The steps are simple, but you need to manipulate the paper and the shapes to get what you want. Its also time consuming because of the multiple coats of sealant and the gloss i use to make the items durable and permanently water proof.

The items i make are completely to my own style, i do not follow any trends or try to beautify them so that others will see them as beautiful. I make only what is to me a beautiful piece/s and what i would feel happy to wear.

My aim is to allow someone else to appreciate my works as i do and to also inspire creativity. That is why most of the items in my shop are not completed jewelry but handmade beads and supplies. I could easily make earrings and hair pins from my own beads, but i prefer them to be sold as supplies. This allows the buyer to construct whatever they wish from my items. There are a million things that can be made from these starting material.
