I used to work full time in interior design.I enjoyed it very much and fell in love with wall coverings, fabrics and trims. I started my own business doing Decorative Painting, Murals, Faux Finishes which is what I do now .In college I majored in Illustration, which I think has been a good foundation for all my other artistic interests. I live to draw, paint and make things. I've been making things my whole life it seems. It doesn't matter if its a drawing, a painting ,an altered art piece or a doll, or a necklace or a room, well you get the idea. I love designing and creation in all art mediums. My other love is Vintage. I am obsessed with all things vintage. I love love love making things that capture this sort of real sense of what I would call a nostalgic whimsy. Obsessed with fairies, mermaids, crepe paper, Marie Antoinette, old dolls, truly old millinery flowers, vintage ephemera and I love getting to use those in the things I make. Vintage items seem to posess a secret magic all their own and getting to utilize that in my work is pure joy! I also love recycling objects, giving them a new life as something else, getting to rethink how they are used, what they are intended for, such a fun creative outlet!
