I am an avid, amateur photographer trained at the Maine Media Workshops and the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. I also have an M.A. in the History of Art. I shoot urban and macro photography, landscapes, gardens and natural settings. I like morning and evening light. My favorite photographers are Eliot Porter, Henri Cartier Bresson, Paul Caponigro and Eugene Atget. I shoot film and digital but am turning more toward digital since taking a class in digital printing with George DeWolfe in the fall of 2008.
