Hammer Stitch Burn's photostream

I live in Culver City, CA but grew up in the woods of Northern Minnesota. This duality is evident in my work. I like to mix the natural beauty of my childhood home with the modern look of my urban adopted home. In my crafting I like to think I take old fashioned crafts and give them a modern twist. In my jewelry I combining natural textures, shells, stones, gems, found objects,...well... anything I can get my hands on, with the structure of metal. This combination of organic forms and modern construction speaks to both my halves. I hope you find all my work craft or art strong and beautiful.
