I got my first (and only) DSLR on Jan 1st 2009. I was rubbish at taking photographs then and I'm still rubbish now. Although I do prefer to think I'm not quite as rubbish as I was then, thanks largely to Flickr and the inspirational images I see here on a daily basis.

I own a Canon 1000D with 3 lenses. The standard kit lens, a 55-250 zoom lens and a 50mm prime.

I have no specialist subject, but I spend a lot of time in a beautiful area of Japan that gives me plenty of photo opportunities.
