A school chum took me to London (Heathrow) when I was 14 yrs old and it was love at first sight. Starting with Grandma's Brownie box camera, I've been taking aircraft shots ever since.

Having spent over 30 years in Winnipeg, Canada (colour slide archive) I finally got smart and moved to Vancouver Island where I live next door to Victoria International Airport. Here I can indulge myself in photography, spotting, flying the "expensive friend" around and going to the beach (another childhood passion).

Currently, I work part time at the Victoria Flying Club as line crew, which keeps me in close contact with aviation operations and with a cool bunch of guys and gals.

Trying to stay in shape by cycling all over town and lap swimming a couple of times a week. Oh yeah! I grow my own garlic too
