My preference is film photography. Shooting 35mm 6x6, 4x5 and 8x10.
I'm on a journey back in time to when film was the only medium for photography. Digital has been around for about 10 years but photography is nearly 200 years old. There is a wealth of images to learn from the early fathers of silver based photography to the present day.
I believe that if I can get the perfect photograph using a film camera I have achieved it not by luck but by method.
Today all you need to do is shoot in Raw and Photoshop can make a ‘silk purse out of a sows ear’
Such a cop out!!!
I find Flickr an invaluable tool for inspiration and learning.
Pinhole photography is my favourite.
I develop all my films at home. B&W, E6 and c41
