"I have known Torbein for nearly 18-20 years or so now, and we started almost at the same time with our interest in photography. He started with a Canon 10d, and i with a canon power shot A80.
At school we belonged to the same dorky group, well thats not completely true. I was a bit of an outsider while Torbein walked between the popular kids and the nerds with a relaxed grace (i discovered later on that i belonged to the nerdy group ) and all the kids liked him. Thats shows what a cool cat he is:)
You can tell a lot about a person from his photos. And to view Torbeins pics is a great journey through his remarkable visions.
His ocean photos takes us on a trip from the dark and wild to the mellow, calm and sometimes funny states of mind.
But if reality is your cup of tea, watch his photos from his tour in Bosnia in -94 through 97.
He´s got something for all you people out there.
He is a great photographer with a good eye for both the surreal and also ordinary life.
And i am "blessed" to call him a really good friend.
