Dorival Moreira's photostream

DORIVAL MOREIRA was born on January 13, 1952 in the city of Areias, State of São Paulo, Brazil. He is one of the founders of the photography groups Photographus and Luminous. He entered photography as a profession when he was 46 years old, working for one of the biggest publishing companies in Brazil, Editora Abril, among other media organizations. He has participated in many exhibitions, such as ‘Fotografite’, which took place at Sé station, one of the busiest subway stations in São Paulo, ‘Caixa e Memória’ (at Centro Cultural da Caixa), ‘Vitrines’ (at Imágicas gallery), and Fuji’s 2nd and 3rd Portfolio Exhibitions. Moreira also won many prizes and his photographs have been published in important photography magazines, such as ‘Íris Foto’, ‘Fotografe Melhor’ and ‘Photo’ (France).
