I'm the other half of Crest Pictures – co-producer if I must have title (or better yet the Taskmaster). We are a small independent nature and adventure film production company based in the Pacific Northwest. I always carry my DSLR along to shoot stills for our films (that is ... when I'm not on #2 or #3 video camera), and just for the love of it, on every backpack, hike, climb and snowshoe we do. Robert is the filmmaker – he uses small – relatively speaking that is – HD cameras now (b4 it was a mini DV) for ease of travel and low impact in the backcountry. He has been filming and editing for nearly 10 years, in addition to his regular day job. We collaborate on concepts and direction. Our latest feature film is The Irate Birdwatcher – it's all about wilderness preservation as told in the words of Harvey Manning, the legendary NW writer and conservationist. His voice was instrumental in establishing the North Cascades National Park as well as several other Wilderness areas in Washington.
