Not a whole lot to say really - I'm very happily married, have a wonderful 18 year old daughter, and I'm very much on the wrong side of 50.

I'm here to develop my skills as a photographer ( ... 'savouring life at 1/100th of a second' ...), learn and make new friends

I shoot with a Canon EOS 5D Mk II, EF 24-105 f/4L, EF 70-200 f/2.8L II, EF 100 f/2.8L macro and an EF 50 f1.4. Throw in a 580EX II and 430 EX II flashes and that's about it

I can't handle hundreds of contacts, so please understand that I won't automatically put you on my contact list when you add me as a contact, and I also regularly take people off my list to keep it all manageable ... if I remove you, please don't take this personally.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my images, but please respect my rights as their creator and no image can be used without my permission. If you would like to use anything you've seen here, please ask - I'm quite a friendly guy

    ASBO Allstar says:

"Chris has been a great 365 buddy over the past year, his stream is sickeningly good though at times as he constantly raises the bar and appears to have an endless supply of fantastic fauna and landscapes within easy reach which he exploits to the full.

Happily shares advice on photography and offers sincere and considered feedback that is always valued.

The downside is that he appears to be clinically insane as he's going back yet another Project365... Great guy, even better photographer."

"Chris' stream is an inspiration to all. He manages to find the most amazing places around Sydney - and take the most amazing shots whiles he's there.
Chris has not only given me wonderful inspiration, but motivation and encouragement as we work through our first year of a Photo a Day.
Chris is an excellent photographer, but also a wonderful Flickr Friend :-)"

"I have never written a testimonial for anyone before but, there's always a first time. Chris has been an inspiration to me ever since I first visited his photostream. He seems to be able to find such amazing shots in places where most of us don't even see places. Add to that his unflagging enthusiasm and uplifting comments to all the rest of us and you'll understand why we all spend so much time here with him. Thanks, CB."

"When I first came across CB's work I couldnt work my way through his stream fast enough. The images he creates are astonishingly well composed and perfectly executed. His eye for detail is amazing!

CB's nature is to encourage every photographer that crosses his path. As a person I feel CB is one of the most caring and compassionate flickrites there is.

His work speaks for itself. I encourage you to take a long look at his stream. He is absolutely awesome!

Thanks for all that you do and share with us CB. YOU ROCK!!"
