"The Gift of Sight"
As the world around me dances I stand motionless so as not to fall; Blind to the rhythm that moves others. Unable to view the complex cipher Etched gauchely upon the hearts Of those who seek conflict. I search for illumination. Whereas once, I could read, Albeit by the glow of the faintest candle, I now study in the shadows Illiterate to Man's Kismet. Trapped within human form And subject to its defects, The Gift of Sight makes me muse On all I cannot see.
