I started taking photographs as a kid/teenager with a disposable camera for each vacation. Where are the days of just having 24 or 36 shots for a whole week?

After the rise of the digital era, my first digital camera was a cheap compact from the Aldi supermarket. And it did a great job. Far better than their cameras do nowadays. Even with just the 3 megapixels of that time.

Since about three or four years ago, and up until now, I snap my pictures with a Panasonic Lumix FX01, which I bought in Germany. I love the colors in my pictures, the quickness of the camera, and just about everything of my Lumix. I'm still pleased about it, and have it with me a lot of the time, along with a small Gorillapod for better pictures at night.

My thoughts on photography:

You can buy the most expensive camera and do the most advanced corrections on your pc, but it is still the person behind the camera who makes the difference.

It is a great feeling to find new things on the ways you take every day: to work, to the store,...
