"Sometimes on the internet, and perhaps even in real day to day life, you meet someone that you connect with. They end up being super busy, and you also never know what to say to them when you see them for short periods of time. Yet you feel a connection to their work, their ideas, their outlook on the things you also appreciate and care about. Sometimes the connection is only through the "WORK", their creations, their ideas.

I feel exactly like this about Alpha and Elif. We are both intrepid residents of a strange world called SL. In RL we're connected loosely because we're from the same country originally and we both are involved with art. Yet we've never met or talked beyond a brief discussion in SL.

It is always wonderful to explore Alpha's world through Flickr and SL.... I sign onto Flickr every week wondering where she is headed next. :-)"
