Addicted2Hymenoptera :)'s photostream

My name may be Devon but I am in fact an individual of the female persuasion! Anyway, Some day I would love to be an entomologist! I am absolutely CRAZY about BUGS (or should I say, insects lol, well I love them both :P) in other words, I'm an INSECT JUNKY!

(P.S. Just so you know, my absolute favourite insects are fireflies, lampyridae) OK WHOA! Time out, before you read on, my favourite insects has had an upgrade.. so they are not fireflies anymore it is the legendary stick insect from Madagascar, Achrioptera fallax!!!! :D.....ok keep reading...

Ok right now I'm an absolute FREAK about phasmids. Walking sticks and firelfies are a real tie up because I don't know which one I like better :P

My favourite phasmid species is the Achrioptera fallax!!!
The most epic stick EVER!!!!!! lol :P Well mind you the Heteropteryx dilatata, the Peruphasma schultei, the Megacrania batesii, the Oreophoetes peruana and OH THERE'S TOO MANY!!...but they all come very close.
Oh what the hell I love them all! I think they are my new favourite insect. (Sssshh don't tell that to the lampyrids...lol)
I want to own a A. fallax soooooo bad I can taste one as we speak (ewww phasmid chitin... lol) Too bad the females aren't as colourful... oh well.

I've been recently accepted at Algonquin college ( I'm currently 19) I'm going to participate in a animation program so hopefully I can make an animated short with my insect cartoon characters!! :D
I can't wait I might have to get myself a Macbook so I'll be stuck with two laptops... lol And Yes I do have a Macbook now so yes, i do have 2 laptops.

I love to draw as you saw (oh wow that rhymes...) in my photostream. My favourite drawing subject is OBVIOUSLY insects and I love to add modern twists to them (says Carim, a friend of mine).

Well gotta go that's enough talking about me (oh here we go narcissistic again are we? ... :P)
