My blurb
Thank you for allowing me to share my love of photography with you. My true inspiration to develop a photography portfolio stemmed from my attempt to create quality design work for travel companies in Greece. As I searched through the available stock images, I began to see what a need Crete possessed for beautiful photos to promote this popular tourist location. The picturesque landscape and unique architecture of Crete effortlessly provided countless photos that seamlessly integrated into my design work.

From these humble origins, I began to travel and photograph popular and remote travel locations. I always sought for a unique angle or dramatic element to distinguish my photos from the predecessors. Years later, I am still photographing the beauty that I see in the world around me.

I sell prints of my photographs as well as exclusive royalty free images. Please visit my site for more info. My photos have been used by tourist organizations, charity foundations, and local governments to promote travel and tourism to their respective locations & venues.

About being my contact
I appreciate being added as a contact (I really do), but please don't feel badly if I don't reciprocate. I get many new contact requests every day, and it is hard to keep up. Often times, I will realize that I have never made someone a contact even though I message them daily. The best way to keep in contact with me is to comment on my most recent photo.

You can also try sending me a Flickr message...I usually respond promptly to questions/comments by flickr mail.

Recognize my photos?
If some of my photos look familiar to you, that is probably because you knew me in my former flickr-life. Oh happy reincarnation :-)

"Arielle is not only a creative artist with an exquisite talent!! But she is also one of a kind in all her ideas. I consider her to be a true friend. Though we never met, but somehow I feel I know her in person. She was among the first I met here, and definitely she is among the few who keep inspiring me. Truly her work is very inspirational and I always look forward for more years to come."

"Arielle is one of Flickr's best. She has a generous spirit and is a true friend. Her work is amazing and varied. Her subjects could be almost anything. Everything she shoots becomes pure and true and real. Her macro shots are spectacular, but so are her landscapes. Arielle has a tremendous sense of space and her composition skills are first-rate. Just have a look at Chili pizza image and you will see what I mean.

Add to her photographic skill an incredible use of post processing and you have magic. Arielle has the ability to enhance an image without every overdoing the processing. It always serves the image.

Thanks for your great work and your friendship Arielle!"

"I have a hard time putting into words how I feel about something but I will try here because Arielle is such a wonderful photographer/person that I think it necessary to do so.
Her photo's are top-notch professional shots. She has mastered all the elements that make up a great shot. Her work with software programs is equally mastered.
Arielle as a person is as terrific as anyone I have met on Flickr as she always responds with very helpful responses and has some wonderful tutorials to view on line.
I would really encourage everyone to look at her tremendous photostream. Glad we are friends."

"Arielle is an amazing photographer. She's also a great Flickr and Twitter friend. She's always handy with photoshop/editing advice and has a great blog full of tutorials. What I like best about her photographs, especially her landscapes/seascapes, is that you feel like you are actually standing where she stood when she took the photograph and you are experiencing the scenery as though you are actually there, and not looking at a photograph. I get much inspiration from her photostream. Each day, a different treasure beholds, waiting to whisk you off to some far-off locale for a bit of respite from life's day to day doldrums."

"This is my Frankenstein (or Frankensteeen) "return of the dead" testimonial from Arielle's former flickr account "tygerlyl", lol. The girl can't hold still, lol. At least now I can use her real namesake in this testimonial. That's because the statute of limitation has now run out on her undiscovered felony acts of the past (not really, kidding, lol). But anyway! I enjoy many aspects of her photo streams. They all have a life and a 2 way communicae' all of their own. After being on flickr for some time now, I have discovered that she is indeed a warm and pretty open person. She puts a huge effort into the community aspect of flickr and it shows in the type of comments she receives in her stream from others. FAR out pacing my comment effort around flickr town indeed. She is an absolute positive influence on this sight with beautiful photographs of exotic and normal home locals of the past and present.
Hopefully she never leaves flickr......... alive, :PPP. (the creep-ometer's a rockin/rollin' on that one, lol)"

But seriously, it is my honor to know someone who is actually selling their photos, they are certainly of great artistic quality, and I want to wish you good luck!"

"I like her way to make photos. She is able to catch really nice capture, performing a great composition in the most of cases, obtaining a stunning result in her photos. Famous locations, less known locations... are taken by her, allowing us to "travel" and to improve our sight to the world (a part of world ok ok ;-) ). I invite to visit her photostream. Colors and tones are happy to be part of her pictures!"
