The National Economic and Social Rights Initiative (NESRI) partners with affected communities in building a social movement for health care, housing, education, and work with dignity. Through these partnerships NESRI advances the principle that fundamental human needs create human rights obligations on part of the government, as well as the private sector. By supporting local projects and national coalitions, NESRI advocates for universal, equitable and sustainable public policies that forge a deep-rooted culture of economic and social rights.
