The old African proverb "It takes a village to raise a child" sums up my life nicely. It has been the support of everyone across the globe that has encouraged me to pursue life on my own terms.

I'm American Cantonese and endlessly curious about the world. I have been lucky enough to have lived in Macau, United States, Singapore, Australia, the Netherlands, and the UK. In addition to the places above, I have also worked in Morocco and Canada.

My view on the world has been highly biased by
1) Growing up in the kitchen of my family's small food establishment with some very traditional Chinese values.
2) Straddling multiple cultures throughout my life.
3) Starting my career during the heyday of Internet 1.0.
4) Having Cantonese as my mother tongue.

Along the way, I've shared many delicious meals, seen some breathtaking views, and have laughed with the most amazing folks.
