I would like to consider myself an adventurer, but alas I don't often get to stray that far from the paved road. When I do, I love to take photos of our natural world in its raw and majestic beauty. To me nature is divine, and the wonder of life and our planet never ceases to amaze.

Definition of Nunavut? The Inuit people who have lived in the Arctic for millenia recently got their own self-governed territory in Canada. Nunavut means our land in the Inuktitut language. I chose it in admiration for their respect of nature, and the lessons that they can teach us about living within the resources and capacities of our natural world.
