I am not the most skilled photographer however, I do understand my dslr and know how to take pictures on manual mode. I consider myself first an artist, then secondly a photographer. I know there are many purist out there and they prefer photos that are not overly processed. I think photoshop is one of the coolest creations. So I do use it and other post processing software a lot!!! I appreciate that there is a lot of skill involved in mastering these programs.
I love scenic and landscape photography. My favorite subjects to shoot are anything old and abandoned and roadside attractions and signs. I have traveled a portion of Route 66 and have every intention to see the rest.
I am currently using my 1st DSLR camera, the Canon EOS 1000d (Rebel XS). Constructive criticism is always welcome. I am enjoying all the knowledge and inspiration I gain as a member of the Flickr community.
