Hugh Deck's photostream
|
There's not much to my operation - just one camera, two lenses, a tripod, some filters and a wonderfully patient and supportive wife.
I really do welcome any constructive feedback and comments on my photographs. Please do take the extra few seconds to view my photos in large format as I think it makes such a difference. I think it should be done on just about every photo on Flickr, because only that way will you get the best understanding of a picture's true strengths and weaknesses.
Also, every once in a while, in keeping with a general quality-not-quantity philosophy, I do some deleting of images on my Flickr stream, so apologies if something you once saw or liked is no longer available.
I live in Sydney, Australia.

Note: I can't add everyone as a contact but I will do what I can. I generally try and keep my contact list small and manageable. However, if you add me as a contact and have no images available to me, I will in all likelihood block you from viewing my photographs.

"I know him!...he's a darn good bloke, top notch, and certainly handy with the old canon too. If I had a calender company he'd be on the books."

James Duckworth says:
"I have been an active member of flickr for over 3 years. I have never seen a photographer with such a beautiful stream that has not been "found and recognized" by the flickr community. As of this writing, Hugh has a fraction of the visits and comments of other photographers with far less skills (most have no comments).
I challenge everyone who has missed out on his stream to take the time a view his images. They are incredible. His photography skills and style would rival any photographer on flickr.
Thanks for sharing your work and your travels (which are incredible unto themselves). You are an artist!"13th January, 2010
